This Ramadan 2011, we are raising funds to help charities in different ways. We will be fundraising for two very different initiatives:

  • A project which will bring the Muslim charity sector closer together by showing them how to work together
  • An advice line which will help in advising Muslim charities in areas such as charity regulation, governance and financial control

Can you imagine all charities working together?

We are raising funds to run a project showing the charities the benefits of different organisations working together.
The project will have four crucial steps:

  • Run a training workshop for charities
  • Work with a selected number of organisations to indentify a project that they can collaborate on
  • Guide the charities through the conception, implementation and completion of a collaborative project
  • Produce a guideline to help other charities work together

This Ramadan, no matter how big or small, your donation can bring Muslim charities closer together.

Can you support Muslim Charities in the UK?

We need your help in supporting Muslim Charities in the UK by creating an advice line which can give every Muslim charity the best assistance possible in issues related to daily management and financial governance. This will be a manned portal via telephone and email with reliable information and support from the most qualified experts in this field.

The advice line will ensure:

  • That charities have a place to go receive information about finances and regulation
  • Clear assistance and guidance on financial matters
  • Manned by staff that are experts on finance and regulation
