On the 16th May we were honoured to host Seeds For Tomorrow, our unique half-day climate action conference for charities and community organisations.

Located at the stunning natural venue of WWT London Wetland Centre, we were joined by over 30 delegates from across the UK charity sector as we experienced the Blessings of the Collective for Climate Action.

The event marked the launch of our Climate Action Report – a candid look into how British Muslim-led charities are raising awareness of climate change, tackling emissions and waste and getting donors on board. From case studies, to honest reflections on the barriers that prevent better progress and engagement, the report is a must-read for anyone interested in sustainability.

Across the afternoon, delegates were also treated to three inspiring workshops with practical advice and support, hosted by Zero Hour, Climate Outreach and Hope For The Future. Our expert panelists included Dr Lufti Radwan from sustainable and halal Willowbrook Farm, Shazia Arshad, Head of Communications and Creative Content at Islamic Relief and Kamran Shezad from IFEES. Our host for the day was the engaging Zamzam Ibrahim, UN Advisor, Climate Activist and founder of SOSUK.

Thank you to all who joined us on the day.
