There’s a whole host of grant funding out there which can diversify and sustain your income streams, empowering your work. This round-up highlights grant funding currently open or available to UK charities, community groups and social enterprises.

Opportunities range from small community awards to larger strategic support, across themes including health, social disadvantage, youth wellbeing, climate action and community resilience.

Great Big Green Week 2026!

Don’t miss the first Great Big Green Week 2026 training session, all about how to apply for funding for your community events and initiatives, including Great Big Green Week activities.

Whether you’re looking to hone your application writing skills, applying for funding for the first time and don’t know where to start, or just want to know more about community funding, this session is for you!

You will have the opportunity to learn from funders about what makes a successful funding application from, hear from Great Big Green Week organisers who have sourced funding for their events, and ask any questions you may have to a panel of experts.

Asda Foundation – Young Futures Fund

Focus: Improving mental health and wellbeing for teens aged 13–18 across the UK.
What they offer: £500 – £1,000 grants for grassroots projects.

Brian & Ann Clark Fund

Focus: Poverty relief, education, and physical/mental wellbeing. Priority for families, young carers and small charities.
What they offer: £1,000 – £5,000 rolling grants via Cumbria Community Foundation.

Forte Charitable Foundation

Focus: Small & medium UK charities tackling deprivation.
What they offer:
• Small Grants: £2,000 – £10,000
