Humanitarian Consequences of the Current Middle East Crisis

The humanitarian spillovers of the current conflict in the Middle East are at risk of deepening significantly. Approximately 3.2 million Iranians have been internally displaced since the onset of Israeli-US strikes, raising the prospect of a large-scale refugee crisis across the Middle East and Asia. With the conflict intensifying, a further 1 million Lebanese civilians have been displaced.
