Since 1989, We have been working in rural communities globally to treat and eradicate preventable blindness and restore eyesight for the needy.

We achieve this through building hospitals, conducting outreach and specialised programmes, training healthcare professionals, and conducting school screenings.

We envision a world free from preventable blindness, where every community has access to quality eye healthcare. Guided by our values, we collaborate with local partners to safeguard eyesight and empower communities.

We provide free cataract surgeries, screen children to protect their vision, and build eye hospitals and training colleges in rural Africa and Asia. To date we have treated more than 27million outpatients and delivered over 2300 outreach programmes, to give people back their sight.
