This seminar offers a clear overview of financial sanctions and their implications for charities. Participants will learn how sanctions are applied, their impact on charitable activities, reporting obligations, and key exceptions, including humanitarian exemptions.  There will be a focus on how charities can navigate these issues in practice. We will be joined by experts Augustus Della-Porta and Jess Collings from Bates Wells and the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI). The session will also introduce MCF’s sanctions policy template for trustees, a practical resource available via our website.
