Our Board of Trustees oversees the strategic direction for MCF: they are the guardians of MCF’s purpose and are ultimately accountable for the organisation. Generally, Board Members meet every three months, and they are responsible for any decisions regarding the appointment, suspension or removal of MCF members.

MCF’s Board consists of:

  • Up to 6 Full Member Trustees (50% of the board) appointed by MCF Full Members
  • Up to 3 Ordinary Member Trustees (25% of the board) appointed by MCF Ordinary Members
  • Up to 3 Co-opted Trustees (25% of the board), appointed by the rest of the Trustees, in light of the skills/expertise they can add to the Board. The Full and Ordinary Member Trustees may appoint one of the Co-opted Trustees to be the Chair of the Trustees.

The Chair, Secretary and Treasurer form the officers of the board.
