Natalie Bennett (or Baroness Bennett of Manor Castle for really formal occasions) is a Green Party member of the House of Lords, having been leader of the England and Wales party from 2012-2018, including in the 2015 general election, when the party got more votes than in every previous election added together. She’s a champion of universal basic income, a longtime feminist, and her philosophy can be summed up in the title of her forthcoming book “Change Everything: Common Sense Politics for the Age of Shocks”, being published with Unbound.
