Haroon pioneered the UK’s first tax-efficient Islamic Will over 20 years ago. In 2007, he founded iWill Solicitors, the first and perhaps still the only firm in the country that solely specialises in Islamic Wills and related work. iWill Solicitors was recently acquired by Wahed – the leading fintech company specialising in Shariah compliant investments – and Haroon and iWill Solicitors continue to pioneer the Islamic Will and private client services field.

Haroon has overseen the preparation of thousands of Wills to date, and is widely acknowledged as the leading practitioner with regards to Islamic Wills in the country. He has a breadth of knowledge and experience in the field, having qualified as a lawyer in 2000, and worked as a solicitor for some of the leading law firms in the country.  More recently, he established the charity iWaqf, with a view to encouraging and promoting the Islamic concept of Waqf.
