Islam has been working with charities, NGOs and community organisations for over two decades. During this time, Islam has served as advisor, trustee and employee, and has been volunteering with charities since his school days.

In recent years, Islam’s focus has been on fundraising activities for INGOs such as Muslim Hands, Human Appeal and Muslim Charity.

Islam currently heads the Community Engagement & Fundraising department at Muslim Charity. When he is not working, Islam likes to play badminton and is an avid reader, with interest ranging from theology to history and science fiction.
