Mohammad Shakir has over 15 years’ worth of experience in journalism, broadcasting, campaigning, and media relations. He has held a range of roles at local and national NGOs in front line media response and crisis communications. He joined Islamic Relief Worldwide in 2016 as International Media Coordinator dealing with media relations. In 2019, he was promoted to Senior Communications Advisor, with the responsibility for reputation management and crisis communications. In his spare time, Mohammad enjoys cooking, tv quiz shows and watching films at the cinema.
