The Dormant Assets Scheme is a government funding scheme of around £76 million tied up in forgotten accounts that cannot be reunited with the owners and is then redistributed to charities and social action causes. The Access Foundation will soon redistribute around £30 million of this from dormant assets to groups who are dealing with the cost-of-living crisis.

Consultation is currently underway to establish which groups and charities may be most in need.

The Good Trouble consultancy are working in partnership with MCF to collect the experiences of BME and Muslim-led organisations to ensure that these voices are included and considered in the consultation.
