Introductory Grant Funding workshop for UK registered Muslim-led charities.

Are you a Muslim-led charity serving disadvantaged communities within the UK? Would you like to find out more about grant funding, what is available or deepen your understanding of how to apply?

The Cost of Living Crisis is hitting many families hard. Those from historically under-funded groups are already suffering the most as costs rise and winter sets in. You may be concerned about how you will meet the rising needs of those in need of your charity’s services this winter.

Our recent research report ‘Bridges of Hope‘ uncovered the scale of Muslim social action in the UK and the great diversity of people of all backgrounds that are being assisted. From the amazing work that took place during the Covid19 pandemic and beyond, many of these charities continue to face financial challenges in meeting the needs of those who require support. Our report discovered that 70% of UK Muslim-led charities struggle to meet core costs and 42% do not receive any funding from Trusts and Foundations.

Join Muslim Charities Forum in this online introductory session to explore:

  • Grant funding – what is is and how you can find it for your charity.
  • The current grant funding arena and how the Cost of Living Crisis is affecting grants and how funders are responding.
  • How to apply – eligibility criteria and how to write a successful application.
  • Top tips on how to improve your chances of success in a competitive market.
  • Impact monitoring and report writing for successful grant delivery and why this is important to maintain funder relationships.
  • Q & A session

All attendees will receive a Grant Funding application guide to assist with future applications.
