Join this Safer Recruitment workshop with MCF and specialists from the Misconduct Disclosure Scheme (Steering Committee for Humanitarian Response), Islamic Relief Worldwide and Human Appeal.

Safer recruitment’ is a practice developed from Bichard Inquiry Report into the Soham tragedy in 2002. Initially aimed at educational establishments, this has now been extended to include charities following release of guidance in 2017 by the Charity Commission: ‘Safeguarding and protecting people for charities and trustees’.

Learn about the processes of Safer Recruitment whether internationally and within the UK, working with partners, the signs you should look out for and the checks and legislation when working with vulnerable children or adults.

This will be an online live workshop with opportunity for Q & A. Members are free and limited to 2 spaces per session. A small fee applies for non-members.

Ideal for: HR professionals, Programme Delivery Managers, Volunteer Managers and anyone with responsibility for safeguarding or recruitment.
