MCF’s Journal: The Forum (1st Issue, 2019)
MCF’s Journal: The Forum (2nd Issue, 2019)
On Thursday 27th June we celebrated the launch of MCF’s first journal ‘The Forum’. The Forum is the first journal for the Muslim charitable sector, and we are so excited to be able to share the first issue with you all.
The Forum aims to give an insight into the Muslim Charity sector here in Britain and offer a foundation for developing further discourse. The Journal has contributions from representatives of the Charity Commission, the Fundraising Regulator, academia and the former International Development Secretary and our Patron, Rt. Hon Andrew Mitchell MP.
From the terrible Grenfell fire, to Zakat, to counter-terrorism policy, this journal discusses a myriad of different and diverse topics and makes for an interesting and insightful read to all.
We are currently looking for new contributors for our second issue – if you are interested, or know anyone who is interested in contributing, please let us know by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org
Our second edition of ‘The Forum’ continues the discussions that began in the inaugural edition from Summer 2019. We take a closer look at some of the more difficult conversations we need to have including; administrative costs, addressing needs in the UK and learning points from the Charity Commission’s investigations into Muslim charities.
We are currently looking for new contributors for our third issue – if you are interested, or know anyone who is interested in contributing, please let us know by contacting email@example.com
